Websites for car dealers and workshops
Car buyers research for weeks; car owners with a problem want help today. I build websites for dealers, used-car sellers and workshops that serve both: honest stock listings with real photos, and service pages that make booking a repair quick.
What a motor site needs
- Stock with real photos and details
- Services with typical prices
- Test drive and service bookings
- Finance and paperwork explained
- Hours for sales and workshop
Honest listings sell cars
Used-car buyers are wary, and for good reason. A listing with a dozen real photos, the kilometres, ownership history, service record, insurance status and an honest note about any marks earns a visit. A listing with one photo and "call for price" is skipped.
For workshops, the questions are different: do you work on my car, what will it roughly cost, how long will it take and can I get it booked this week. Service pages with typical prices and a booking button answer them.
What I build for the motor trade
Stock listings
Each vehicle with photos, specifications, history and price, easy for staff to update.
Filters
By make, budget, fuel and year, without creating duplicate pages Google wastes time on.
Service pages
Servicing, repairs, denting and painting, tyres and more, with typical prices.
Bookings
Test drives and service slots by form or WhatsApp, with the car already named.
Finance and paperwork
How loans, insurance and registration transfer work with you.
Hours
Separate sales and workshop hours, matched on your Google listing.
Search and the map
Buyers search for a model and a town, and owners search for a repair near them. Stock pages with clear titles and vehicle details, and a page per service, match those searches. Your Google Business Profile, with the right dealer or repair category, real photos and reviews, catches the people searching the map.
If the showroom and the workshop are at different addresses, each can have its own listing. My local SEO page explains how to set that up without duplicates.
Questions dealers and workshops ask me
Can I list used cars myself?
Yes. A simple listing form for make, model, year, kilometres, fuel, ownership, price and photos lets your staff add and remove cars in minutes. Sold cars can be marked sold or hidden.
Can I say I'm an authorised dealer?
Only if you are, and then follow the manufacturer's rules for logos and wording. Independent dealers and workshops can say which brands they sell or service, without implying they're authorised.
Can customers book a service online?
Yes. A form or WhatsApp button that asks for the car, the service needed and a preferred date, which your workshop confirms. Pick-up and drop, if you offer it, can be part of the same request.
Want more buyers and bookings?
Tell me whether you sell, service or both, and how customers reach you now. I'll suggest how the site should work.
