Websites for clinics patients can trust
Patients look up a clinic when they are worried or in a hurry. I build clinic and healthcare websites that give them what they need calmly and quickly: which doctor, which days, which services, how to book and how to get there, written carefully and kept accurate.
What a clinic site needs
- Doctors with qualifications
- Days and timings for each
- Services explained simply
- Appointment requests
- Directions, parking and access
Trust comes from accuracy
Google holds health pages to a higher standard, because wrong information can hurt people. Patients do the same. The pages that earn trust name the doctors, show their qualifications and registration where appropriate, describe services plainly and say when the information was last checked.
The most common failure on clinic sites is out-of-date timings. A patient who travels to see a doctor on the wrong day doesn't come back. I build the timings so they're easy for your staff to change, and match them on your Google listing every time.
What I build for clinics
Doctor pages
Each doctor's qualifications, specialities, languages and the days they see patients.
Service pages
Treatments, tests and procedures explained in plain words, with what to expect and how to prepare.
Appointments
Requests by form, phone or WhatsApp, asking only what's needed to book.
Privacy
Forms that send securely, no medical details on public pages and a clear privacy notice.
Accessible pages
Large text, strong contrast and pages that work with a screen reader. See accessibility.
Getting there
The floor, the entrance, lifts, parking and the nearest landmark, for patients and their families.
Being found nearby
Most patients search for a doctor or test close to home, so the map results matter most. A correct Google Business Profile with the right medical category, real hours, photos of the entrance and reception, and replies to reviews is usually the first job. The website then gives the detail.
Reviews need extra care in healthcare: thank patients without confirming anything about their treatment, and never share medical details in a reply. If you run a diagnostic centre or a pharmacy alongside the clinic, each public-facing part may need its own listing.
Questions clinics ask me
Can patients book appointments online?
Yes. A simple request form or WhatsApp booking works for many clinics, with the clinic confirming the slot. If you use an appointment system, I connect it to the site. Either way, the form should ask for as little personal information as possible.
Can each doctor have their own Google listing?
Google allows individual practitioners to have their own listings in some cases, for example when they see patients independently. A doctor who only works within one clinic is usually better served by the clinic's listing plus their own page on the website.
What should a clinic website avoid?
Promises of cures, before-and-after claims you can't support, patient photos without consent and medical advice that replaces a consultation. Health information should be accurate, dated and written or checked by your doctors.
Want patients to find the right doctor at the right time?
Tell me about your clinic, your doctors and how patients book now. I'll suggest what the site and listing should do first.
