Websites for food and produce brands

Whether you sell saffron, dry fruits, honey, apples, spices, pickles or baked goods, buyers want to know where it comes from, what's in it and whether it will arrive fresh. I build websites for food and produce brands that answer those questions and sell to homes, shops and wholesale buyers.

What a food site needs

  • Where it's grown or made
  • Ingredients and allergens
  • Licences you actually hold
  • Fresh, honest shipping
  • Wholesale enquiries

Origin is the story

Food from a particular place often sells on that place: orchards, fields, a family recipe, a harvest season. Buyers pay more when they believe it, and they've learned to be suspicious of claims they can't check. Photos of your farm or kitchen, the people involved, the harvest calendar and how you grade and pack make the claim believable.

Quality marks need the same honesty. Show lab reports, organic certification or geographical indication registration only if you genuinely hold them, with the details. A buyer who checks and finds nothing won't come back.

What I build for food brands

Product pages

Weight, grade, ingredients, allergens, shelf life, storage and price.

Sourcing

Where it's grown or made, how it's processed and when it's in season.

Licences and tests

Food licence numbers and any certifications or lab results you hold.

Shipping

Where you deliver, how fast, how it's packed and what happens if it's damaged.

Stockists

Shops and stalls where buyers can find you in person.

Wholesale

A page for bulk buyers with minimum quantities and a request form. Exporting? See manufacturers and exporters.

Being found by buyers

People search for a product with its origin or quality: a variety of apple, a grade of saffron, organic honey, almonds from a region. Product pages with those details in their titles and text, plus product structured data and a Merchant Center feed, help the right buyers find you. See ecommerce SEO.

If you have a shop, a farm gate or a processing unit people can visit, a Google Business Profile helps local buyers and tourists find it, and their reviews reassure buyers who order from far away.

Questions food brands ask me

What do I need to show on a food product page?

The product name, weight, ingredients, allergens, shelf life, storage instructions and price, plus your food licence number where the rules in your country require it. In India, food businesses selling online are expected to show their FSSAI licence or registration number.

Can I ship perishable products?

Yes, if your packaging and courier can keep them in good condition. Be honest on the site about where you ship, how long it takes and what happens if something arrives damaged. Seasonal products should say when they're available.

Should I sell retail and wholesale on one site?

Usually yes, with a separate wholesale page and enquiry form for bulk buyers, hotels and shops. Retail customers buy through the store; wholesale buyers ask for a price list and samples.

Want buyers to trust your produce?

Tell me what you sell, where it comes from and who buys it now. I'll suggest how the site should tell the story and take orders.
