Landing page design with one job to do

If you're paying for ads or running a campaign, the page people land on decides whether that money turns into enquiries. I design landing pages around one offer and one action, built to load instantly on a phone and measured so you can see what works.

What a landing page needs

  1. A headline that matches the ad

Visitors should see straight away that they've arrived at what they clicked.

  2. The offer, clearly

What they get, what it costs or what it depends on, and why now.

  3. Proof

Reviews, photos of real work or results you can back up.

  4. One action

A short form, a WhatsApp button or a call button, repeated down the page.

  5. Answers to doubts

A few honest answers to the questions that stop people acting.

When businesses use them

Paid ads

Google or social ads pointed at a page built for that ad's audience.

Admissions

A focused page for an admissions drive, with dates and an enquiry form.

Seasonal offers

A package or offer for one season, with a clear end date.

Launches

A new product or service, with a waitlist or early-bird offer.

Events

An event with its date, place, schedule and registration.

Lead magnets

A guide or checklist offered in exchange for an email address.

Measured from the first click

A landing page without tracking is guesswork. I set up GA4 events for form submissions, calls and WhatsApp taps, and connect them to your ad accounts if you run ads, so you can see the cost of each enquiry rather than just the cost of each click.

The page itself is built light, because every second of loading on a phone loses paid visitors. For the wider site, see website development; for startups launching a product, see websites for startups.

Questions about landing pages

What's the difference between a landing page and a website?

A website serves many visitors with many questions. A landing page serves one group arriving from one place, such as an ad or a campaign, with one offer and one action. Removing everything else is what makes it work.

Should a landing page be indexed by Google?

It depends. A page for a paid campaign that duplicates your site is usually kept out of search. A page for an ongoing offer, like a course or a seasonal package, can be built to rank as well.

Can you test two versions?

Yes. Two versions of a headline or offer can be shown to different visitors and compared, as long as the page gets enough traffic for the result to mean something. I'll tell you honestly if it doesn't.

Running a campaign soon?

Tell me what you're promoting, to whom and where the traffic will come from. I'll suggest how the page should work and give you the price.
